Exchanging Visits between the Cypriot and the Irish Team

To prepare for the series of workshops in Cyprus and Ireland, the project team has implemented two transnational learning activities where the Cypriot team and the Irish team visited each other and exchanged knowledge and ideas on how to build the educational content and the “lesson plans” for the workshops. The team shared activities and discussions with regards to non-formal educational methodologies, experiential learning, and interactive activities to explore the issues of women’s history, gender equality, and peace education. Furthermore, the project teams took history walking tours in Nicosia and Belfast where they had the chance to dive deeper into the troubled history of the two cities through a gender-sensitive approaches.
